Microsabio becomes North American ZTERM for Windows distributor

I'm very pleased to announce that Jack McGregor (email [email protected]) from MicroSabio has been appointed the North American distributor of ZTERM for Windows. Jack will handle all sales and marketing of ZTERM for Windows and associated products in the United States and Canada along with providing front-line support for the product. Jack is already very familiar with ZTERM for Windows since he's been recommending it to users of his AShell

This change will allow me to concentrate on developing ZTERM for Windows further. ZTERM started rather informally over two years ago - since then it's grown to become the premier tool for connecting 32-bit Microsoft Windows with Alpha Micro multi-user computer systems and Unix hosts running applications that originated on AMOS, way exceeding my expectations.

I'm very committed to making ZTERM for Windows even better in the coming year. Just to give you a peek of what's coming up soon in the ZTERM for Windows world:

• ActiveZTERM. With this technology, you can embed the functionality of ZTERM for Windows into your Visual Basic applications, deploy your application onto the Internet with Internet Explorer or provide connectivity between Word and Excel and your host.
• ZTERM PhotoFile. A ZTERM for Windows plug-in that adds image scanning, cataloging, display and printing all under control of your host application.
• ZTERM for Windows 2.0. This version, designed specifically for Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows NT 4.0 will support TAPI for modem dialing, threads for improved performance and many other 32-bit enhancements.
• ZTERM for Windows CE. ZTERM in your pocket! With this version of ZTERM, any Handheld PC running Windows CE 2.0 will be able to use the same quality terminal emulation as desktop users.
