There are literally millions of links pages on the World Wide
Web plus many powerful search engines to help you find what you're
looking for, so our goal is not to come up with yet another huge
list of links, but rather the ones that we've found useful or
informative.
If you request that we add a link here and we don't, please
don't be upset - we want to keep this short and sweet.
What's Here?
Visual Basic Links
 |
Innovative
Data Solutions. IDS have some very powerful OLE servers to
handle email and an OLE wrapper around the RASDial control that
allows use from both 16-bit and 32-bit containers. |
 |
Visual
Basic Web Directory. This site has a ton of links for the
VB user - probably the most extensive I've seen. |
 |
VB-World
is one of those VB websites where someone that knows something
about color was involved in the design! It's really nice to look
at, full of info and has a not-yet-completed, but very promising
tutorial for people that know nothing about VB. |
 |
Keng Ng has an ActiveX
control that mimics a Star Trek console - totally useless
but cool all the same! |
Rod's Favorites
 |
Lyngemark Satellite
Chart is the best satellite chart on the Internet. You can
also see my Java SatTracker control in action. |
 |
Tele-Satellite
is an excellent satellite related magazine. It's published six
times a year, which of course gives you two months of quality
bathroom reading to get through all the info! |
 |
Hauppauge.
The guys have been making video capture and display boards for
years and now that the PCI bus and DirectX are upon us, have
designed a really excellent TV display add-in for Windows
95 and NT. Best of all, the WinCast/TV board costs less than
a hundred bucks! |
 |
The Hollywood
Plus MPEG-2 decoder card from Sigma Designs is an excellent
low cost way to play MPEG-1 & 2 content on Windows PCs, especially
on Windows NT 4.0. Works fine with 1280x1024 resolution - pitty
it doesn't do HDTV... |
Internet Related
 |
Adobe PageMill. I used to write straight
HTML prior to getting this product. If you want to create Web
pages, this is one awesome tool. |
 |
Microsoft's VB5CCE. This is a version of
Visual Basic for developing ActiveX controls. Excellent stuff
and free. |
 |
The MMF (Make Money
Fast) Hall of Humiliation. One man's very well written, funny
and brutal attack on these Spamheads. |
SCSI Related
 |
SCSI Trade Association's
website. Lots of useful info an links about SCSI |
 |
The T10.ORG
website has the SCSI specifications on-line |
