Hauppauge. The guys have been making video capture and display boards for years and now that the PCI bus and DirectX are upon us, have designed a really excellent TV display add-in for Windows 95 and NT. Best of all, the WinCast/TV board costs less than a hundred bucks! |

The Hollywood Plus MPEG-2 decoder card from Sigma Designs is an excellent low cost way to play MPEG-1 & 2 content on Windows PCs, especially on Windows NT 4.0. Works fine with 1280x1024 resolution - pitty it doesn't do HDTV... |
